Reading

I have stopped reading Austen's letters. They were just too dull for me and simply became completely unenjoyable. I did get through about 35 of her letters though, which was a nice sampling.

I picked up and finished Doyle's The Sign of the Four. Now, generally speaking, I am not a big murder mystery fan. I did, however, enjoy Christie's And Then There Were None. I did not really like The Sign of the Four. I found there to be far too much to have occurred prior to the story all told in past tense. I also discovered Sherlock Holmes to be a pretty unlikable character and indeed, almost inhuman. In that it was rather disappointing.

Oh well....on to the next book
