Wrath of God or Unexplained, Unconfirmed Weather Phenomenon

There has been so much bad weather lately. Tornatos, Floods, Earthquakes, Blizzards, Cyclones, Heat Waves etc. And to think the Hurricane Season has only begun and we are only half-way through the year.

I keep waiting for the headlines about how all of this is because of global warming, just like they did with Hurricane Katrina, and how imperative it is we stop it. Now global warming is an unconfirmed, unexplained weather phenomenon. It has come to sound like El Nino that you can blame anything on it. Nearby shooting? It was global warming! I swear it will be a defense in court soon if it hasn't already. It is an excuse to steal - what better way to take money from people than raising taxes for a weather phenomenon no one can confirm or explain. (Even if the earth's temperature was confirmed to have risen, that doesn't confirm the "global warming" phenomenon many people, including democrats, think they should use money to try to change - talk about a god-complex trying to control the weather!)

Here is my explanation of choice: God's Wrath. Do I even need to go in to what his wrath would be for? I mean, abortion alone would be enough, but we all know there is so much more.

So before anyone wants to fund any global warming research and prevention and combat machine, I vote for repentance, confession and penance first and use the money on the poor, the homeless, the elderly, the ill, the orphaned and the widowed.
