A Brief Update

Last week my computer began having problems. It wouldn't even boot correctly on me. James ran test after test unable to find any particular problem. Fortunately we were able to get it running again just fine and immediately backed it up three times. It worked fine all weekend. Then yesterday....CRASH! Now James cannot get it working at all. I'm typing from his computer. Fortunately, my computer is still under warranty so we will be dropping it off at an Apple store and asking the geniuses to fix it.

Not having my computer is absolutely driving me nuts. So maybe it is a good thing I have this forced time away from it ... even if I'm not happy about it.

That said, I did have some nesting kick in and dove into Cecilia's closet. I got out all the 24 month and 2T size clothing for Felicity as the 18 month clothing was getting too small. I got out the Newborn clothing although I haven't gotten it out of the box yet. And since I was in the closet anyway, I got out the baby's car seat, bassinett, my bobby pillow, the bouncy seat and the baby toys. I also organized the cabinets in the master bathroom and cleaned that bathroom (with the exception of the shower/tub which James did - it is just so difficult and tiring with a big baby belly). I'm hoping to get the Newborn clothes out of the box today, put away the size 18 month clothes, clean the other upstairs bathroom (again, James cleaned the shower/tub in that room this morning) and organize the linen closet today. By the way, all those newborn baby toys, the girls think they are wonderful "new" toys and have not stopped playing with them. LOL.

So, fortunately, even though I am, sniff, sniff, computer-less, I have been both busy and productive. Hopefully the Apple geniuses will not need all 10 days like last time and will be able to figure out what is wrong. Last time, still under warranty, they could not figure out what was wrong and could not get it working and simply replaced my entire computer. While getting a brand new computer wasn't bad, I'm a little nervous about following a pattern.
