Small Successes

small_successes_badge-300x2321. Everyone has that counter or desk or table that seems to get piled and cluttered with stuff. And everyone has that drawer in their kitchen that just seems to acrue things. I got both cleaned, organized and de-cluttered this week.

2. After a month of days of small progress, I finally finished the front lawn/garden area. I'd only go out to work on it with Cecilia during Felicity's nap when the weather permitted. It took me about 3 weeks to get the border up. Yesterday I bought the plants and Cecilia and I got them all planted. It is finished. I'll try to get pictures up by tomorrow.

3. I read chapter 2 in my Oscar Wilde book. I kept picking up making progress only a couple pages at a time with interruptions and distractions and everything else. Sad, I know, but I finally got through the chapter fate seemed determined to derail.

  1. You amaze me....hello! Amazing!! Great job on all you've done, your kids, the garden...WOW!!

    Have a blessed week!

  2. I need to do my #1 before baby gets here!

Isn't it amazing how in the beginning 9 months seems so long and near the end there seem to be so many things to be done before the baby arrives? Sometimes I have to wonder just what I have been doing with my time. Hope everything is going well in your final weeks.

lol, I disappoint myself. I know I can be too lazy but it isn't always easy for me to tell just when I'm really being lazy and when my pregnant body really does want me to rest. If only MarioKart counted towards productivity! That is why I never fail to put up my "Small Successes" though - it helps me remember that I do get things done and not getting everything done means failure. God Bless!
