I am praying for my aunt who is leaving today to provide aid for two weeks in Uganda.
I am hoping for a good week for my dad who is testifying in court.
I am thinking about how much I want to get done, just what needs to get done and how and to what extent I can get done as much as possible.
I am thankful for this exquisite Autumn weather!
Cecilia is entertaining Elizabeth with toys.
Felicity is sitting in my lap trying to take over the computer.
Elizabeth is being entertained by Cecilia in her bassinet.
I am reading Jane Eyre (~page 545 of 600), The Pursuit of Happiness - God's Way by Pinckaers (halfway through chapter 5), and The Omnivore's Dilemma by Pollan (on chapter 2).
I am listening to "I Can Add" by They Might Be Giants
At home things are a bit of a mess. Everyone being sick will do that. So I need to straighten up here and there. Nothing disastrous, but still there is a definite need for some cleaning.
This week I plan to get more quilt squares done, straighten up a bit, seriously curb the amount of TV we watch (last week got out of hand with everyone being sick), finish Jane Eyre and begin Wuthering Heights, and, on Friday, take the girls to the zoo.
This week's saints include St. John Chrysostom - Yesterday (Patron Against Epilepsy, of Canstantinople, Preachers and Speakers), St. Catherine of Genoa - the 15th (Patron of Brides, Childless Couples, Difficult Marriages, Victims of Unfaithfulness and Widows), Sts. Cornelius & Cyprian - the 16th (Patrons Against Earaches, Against Epilepsy, of Cattle, Domestic Animals, Algeria and North Africa), St. Robert Bellarmine - 17th (Patron of Canon Lawyers, Catechists and Catechumens), and St. Hildegard von Bingen - the 17th. Today we also celebrate the Triumph of the Holy Cross and tomorrow is Our Lady of Sorrows.
Hope everyone has a blessed week!
