I am praying for a friend who is 5 weeks pregnant and, while they did find the heartbeat and baby on the ultrasound yesterday, she is bleeding. Please say a prayer for her.
I am hoping Elizabeth start sleeping better soon.
I am thinking I hope it will be a good and busy week.
I am thankful for the ability to laugh. Yesterday we were baking chocolate chip cookies from scratch and Cecilia turned the mixer on too high and Cecilia, Felicity and I all got covered in flour. My first reaction was an, "Oh, Cecilia..." but then I thought of "I Love Lucy" and I just couldn't stop laughing.
Cecilia is playing a Tinker Bell game on my Ipod.
Felicity is sitting on the changing pad on the dining room table playing with the two beanie ghosts.
Elizabeth is nursing in my lap.
I am reading Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde by Stevenson (not yet begun), The Pursuit of Happiness - God's Way by Pinckaers (halfway through chapter 5), and The Omnivore's Dilemma by Michael Pollan (on chapter 11).
I am listening to "The Miracle of Orleans" from the soundtrack to The Messenger. Not a good film but some beautiful music.
At home this week we are just about out of tomatoes from our garden. It has just gotten too cold for them. Anyone have any idea what we are supposed to do with these plants now? Is it better to cut them or just let them die on their own as winter approaches?
This week we are finally getting to Leesburg for some shopping. We are also planning on carving up two pumpkins and having some fun making some pies. Some cleaning will be in order I'm sure.
