Moving Day!

The day the movers came, my job was to take all 3 girls and keep them out and about all day.
First we went to our parish church and used the school's playground.

Of course we stopped by the Church for a visit with Jesus and said a prayer for a good smooth move. Elizabeth loved being able to roam around the big empty church; her echo has never been so exciting!

Then we went to Chick Fila for lunch and some more playground time. Can you tell I was trying to wear them out?

From there I enjoyed a wonderfully quiet drive while all three girls slept. We then picked up my mom at the airport and drove her to Virginia where she would attend a conference. The girls had fun roaming around the resort and we had dinner together there overlooking the golf coarse. Long day? You betcha! But a successful and relatively smooth one!

P.S. - all of the pictures on this post were taken with my new Iphone. Not bad!

  1. Wow, Katherine you are totally my hero, between seven hours with the kids for the IPhone and keeping them busy all day while the movers were there, whew! I don't know how you do it. St Frances of Rome and our Blessed Mother are certainly smiling at you. And no need to apologize for the lack of posts. We all knew you were moving! I was just hoping it didn't mean there was a major snag in that process. And I was praying all was going smoothly, it looks like those prayers helped! God Bless!

  2. Thank you so much for the prayers - they have definitely helped!

The girls have actually been pretty good through the whole thing - Mary, Frances and their patron saints have definitely been busy! :)
