In addition to our squeaky friend and numerous insects, we now have three frogs trapped in there.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a picture before he slithered under the rocks, but we've even had a baby snake. The snake I identified as a Northern Ringed-Neck. Basically, it looked like this:
I haven't been able to identify the frogs very well but that is exactly what the snake looked like, only a little thinner and shorter.
The girls regularly run into daddy's office to look out his window and see what critters they can see.
And, of course, we still get deer out back a few days a week:
Who needs to go to the zoo? :)
