On Monday, March 25th, we had more snow that we had had all the rest of this so-called winter combined.
Last Tuesday, April 9th, only 2 weeks later, it was over 80 degrees and my kids had traded in the snow suits for bathing suits.
The weather has been too weird for words.
In between our "blizzard" and "heat wave" we had a "wind storm" such that the girls were out in jackets flying our butterfly kite.
Ever find the weather such a discombobulated mess you have to wonder if the government is running that too?
At first I thought something was seriously wrong, like she was in real pain, when Teresa would arch her back and tense up.
It only dawned on me a couple of weeks ago that Teresa turning two years old on Easter Sunday would explain the sudden onslaught of upsetting episodes. My "Tigger" has begun throwing temper tantrums.
What scares me is how long it took me to realize that is what it was. I don't know if that reflects worse on her or on me.
Brigid has the longest eyelashes I've ever seen on a baby.
She doesn't seem to mind, but it does make it a bit more weird when someone asks me if she is a boy.
Brigid suffers from Teresa love. Teresa is a sweetheart but she is definitely the rough and tumble kindof girl. One of my mommy responsibilities has become making sure Brigid survives Teresa's toddler years.
Teresa adores Brigid, but in her love, she clobbers her. Most of the time Brigid doesn't seem to mind, but occasionally I do have to intervene.
Teresa giving Brigid a "high five".
Nothing tuckers out anyone the way Teresa can. :)
For Palm Sunday I decided to try to do something a little different with our palms.
I've never done anything other than crosses before, so this was fun and, I think, didn't turn out half bad. So I hung them above our family prayer table.
If you read my blog at all, you know my little two year old is quite the character. So, here is a few Teresa moments from the past couple of weeks:
Teresa wanted to go outside. She got her coat on over her nightgown and put on Cecilia's shoes. Then she hit me for not letting her outside at 6:49 in the morning.
Bouncy seat facing the wrong way? No problem!
Sometimes you just gotta crash nap and awake refreshed and ready for some cheddar cheese apparently.
Teresa certainly is my greatest trouble-maker and definitely keeps me on my toes. Which is why I thought this shirt at Disney was PERFECT for her and I couldn't resist getting it.
Congratulations to Jen and the Fulwiler Family on the arrival of Joseph!!!
