After her usual Mac and cheese with a side salad, she asked for and received the royal treatment of being sung to and treated to a sundae.
On Sunday, we had her birthday party. She asked it be Frozen themed. Most Frozen themed party supplies were sold out but I improvised with snowflakes.
I finally realized I could get two extra seets if I didn't combine the tables. We were so blessed to have grandparents, godparents and friends celebrate with us.
The whole party consisted of 29 people, 19 of which were children aging from 8 years old (Cecilia) to 4 months.
Keeping with the cold theme, Cecilia requested an ice cream cake. So we got a vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake ice cream cake from Coldstone Creamery.
She wanted it with a big snowflake on it.
Good stuff.
Finger-licking good.
Brigid and her buddy Henry.
Cecilia had a wonderful time and everyone enjoyed themselves. She even drew a huge Olaf snowman and cut out orange triangles so her friends and her could play Pin the Nose on Olaf. The goody bag consisted of a Frozen pencil, snowflake stamp, 3 different sheets of Frozen stickers, three light up ice cubes and a bag of "snowman parts" (marshmallows, pretzel sticks, chocolate chips, mini chocolate chips and candy corn). All in all, a great party.
Happy 8th Birthday, Cecilia!
