Blessed Easter!

After a respectful Mass, we celebrated with brunch at the Cheesecake Factory.
It is a rare treat and it was SO delicious!
I had the Tex-Mex Eggrolls and the Orange Chicken, my favorites.
Cecilia's basket had a traditional Magic 8 Ball, the Dr. Who Lego Dimensions set, "My Path to Heaven" book, a polar bear hat and mittens, sidewalk chalk, new underwear, bubbles, play doh, two cadbury eggs, two KitKats, a big Lindt chocolate bunny and chocolate hazelnut carrots and some smaller Lindt chocolates.
Felicity got the Frozen Magic 8 Ball, new underwear, a Last Supper building set (not Lego but Lego compatible), a Unicorn Scratch and Sketch book, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, play doh, two cadbury eggs, two KitKats, a big Lindt chocolate bunny and chocolate hazelnut carrots and some smaller Lindt chocolates.
Elizabeth got a Lego Friends set, a Zoo Scratch and Sketch book, new underwear, "Roses in the Snow" (a book about St. Elizabeth of Hungary), sidewalk chalk, bubbles, play doh, two cadbury eggs, two KitKats, a big Lindt chocolate bunny and chocolate hazelnut carrots and some smaller Lindt chocolates.

Teresa got a My Bible Quiet book, the Inside Out Magic 8 Ball, VeggieTales' Twas the Night Before Easter DVD, sidewalk chalk, a wooden cat, bubbles, play doh, two cadbury eggs, two KitKats, a big Lindt chocolate bunny and chocolate hazelnut carrots and some smaller Lindt chocolates.
Brigid got a My Bible Quiet Book, a Daniel Tiger stuffed animal, Daniel Tiger DVD, Daniel Tiger figure play set, wooden bunny, two new Nutbrown Hare books, sidewalk chalk, bubbles, play doh, two cadbury eggs, two KitKats, a big Lindt chocolate bunny and chocolate hazelnut carrots and some smaller Lindt chocolates.
Thomas got new church shoes, new Thomas the Train sneakers, a wooden polar bear and a wooden tiger, a stuffed blue praying bunny, two cadbury eggs, two KitKats, a big Lindt chocolate bunny and chocolate hazelnut carrots and some smaller Lindt chocolates.

While the kids got to get their toys before Mass, we made them wait until after we got back from brunch for the sugar part. Then, after Thomas' nap, it was time for the egg hunt. Not a soul in our home eats hard-boiled eggs, so we just do the plastic egg hunt, which the kids much prefer because... CHOCOLATE!
"No peeking!"

Thomas tries his first Reese's Peanut Butter Egg:

Approved!

All the kids had a great Easter and we hope you are enjoying the joy of Easter too!
