Well, I always schedule a week off in celebration of Pentecost. But just because we were taking a break from the books, doesn't mean there wasn't any learning to be had. I planned several outings and took many pictures, hence Pentecost Break gets its own post for this many pictures but since a picture is worth 1000 words...
On Monday we went back to the Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan.

Teresa loves driving the "trolley" as she calls it. |

Felicity and Brigid make sure Jack's Giant isn't going anywhere. |

Horton shows Cecilia how to |

hatch an egg! |

Thomas loves to hug animals be they plastic, plush or real. |
Tuesday we went to the Shedd Aquarium.
 |
Teresa loved the upside down jelly fish. |
Wednesday, after my endocrinologist appointment, we had a playdate at a friend's house. Thursday became a break day to get Thomas a decent nap and get Cecilia to stop throwing up... her stomach is so sensitive. So our trip to the farm was postponed until Friday.

Teresa asked me the chicken's name. I said it was Nuggets. |
Considering all we did and the fact Teresa got through 2 reading lessons, I'd say the break was a complete success. Monday, back to the books!
