July Learning Notes II

Having been out of town for almost two weeks, we returned to a jungle of a garden. There was some marvelous growth and even tiny tomatoes but also a lot of huge weeds. But since the kids helped plant and crops were not in any particular order, I had to take pictures and google the ones I thought we weeds to be sure before I pulled them. It was a good thing I did since it kept me from pulling some flowers the girls did plant but it still resulted in a lot of weed pulling. It was an interesting lesson though. I learned about Velvetleaf, Redroot Pigweed, and a few others.
We also went to the diocesan Family Sunday.
Then we went up to Bay Beach in Green Bay.
