Thanksgiving

The Monday of Thanksgiving week we went to the Milwaukee Public Museum, particularly to see their temporary exhibit on weapons, their Streets of Old Milwaukee all decorated for Christmas, and the living butterflies.
Unfortunately, I came down with strep, so we did make some pumpkin bread, but otherwise I had to take it easy Tuesday and Wednesday, although on Wednesday James took the oldest 4 to see Coco and Thomas and I ran to the library and had a yummy soup lunch.
Thursday James was sick so after we watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, I cooked dinner and the kids and I ate without him.
Friday we used our new leaf blower and clean up the back and side yards and I made new chore lists for all the girls. I also put up the outside Christmas decorations. The only store I ran to was Ace to get extra lights. We don't really do Black Friday.
Or Small Business Saturday or Cyber Monday... But Cecilia saw how many emails I got through them so she drew this:
James, Thomas and 3 of the girls got much needed haircuts/trims on Saturday, but with a GI bug working its way through the house, we tried to take it easy the rest of the weekend.
