The Living Room & Dining Room

We have been wanting to redo the living room since we moved in, but we knew it would be complicated since we wanted to tear down two half walls, but doing that would leave subfloor exposed, which would then require new flooring, and we would want to sand and paint the walls before putting in new flooring... So it took until last September for us to hire an electrician to move the outlets and light switches so we could take the living room from this:
to this:
But while it didn't take me long to fix the drywall and the subfloor, it took us 9 months to rip up the flooring,
repair damaged subfloor,
paint the walls,

and put down the new flooring.
And we were finally able to set up our home family altar!

It has been a long time coming, and there are a couple of small things left to do, but overall I'm thrilled to declare this renovation done!
